The Ultimate Guide to Options

The Health Benefits of CBD Oil Both marijuana and the hemp plant have a compound known as CBD (cannabidiol). CBD exist together with delta-9 tetrathydrocannabinol (THC), which is the more famous than it, in marijuana. The hemp plant is the least processed form of cannabis sativa. The effects of marijuana on the mind have been well documented. These effects may be the reason why some people mistakenly think that CBD will also lead to the same effects. To understand the benefits of CBD oil, it’s important to know how it is different from THC. While both CBD and THC are found in marijuana, they react differently when in the body. The body has receptors known as CB1 and CB2 receptors, on which the CBD and THC compounds attach to when in the body. However, CBD only goes to affect the immune system while THC goes to affect the mind. The feeling of “highness” that a person experiences when they take marijuana is as a result of the THC being broken down by heat and starting to affect the brain. The most common ways in which THC is introduced into the body is through taking it when cooked in food or inhaling marijuana smoke. When in the body, the compound attaches itself to CB1 receptors, which are responsible for things such as perception and pain i.e. the mind. On the other hand, CBD oil can be introduced into the body in various ways, including rubbing it on the skin and intravenous ways. When the compound is in the body, it attaches itself to the CB2 receptors that are mostly found in the immune system. These receptors are responsible for inflammation and pain.
A Quick History of Products
Since CBD oil affects the immune system, it can alter the way a person feels pain. Studies have shown that patients suffering from various chronic conditions can get relief when CBD is introduced in their bodies. For example, people suffering from painful illnesses such as fibromyalgia and multiple sclerosis have been found to find pain relief when they take CBD oil. Compared to over the counter medication, CBD offers a more natural way of pain management. More studies are being done to determine how CBD can be used in treatment of chronic pain.
Case Study: My Experience With Oils
Another application of CBD is on helping users to quit smoking and alleviating the symptoms of drug withdrawal. A study was done where a group of smokers were given placebo and CBD to inhale every time they felt like smoking. After a number of weeks, the results of the participants were checked. It was found that those who were taking placebo did not experience any change in their smoking habit. On the other hand, the nicotine craving of the group that was inhaling CBD had reduced by nearly 40 percent.
